Whale Shark Season starts on the 1st of June and ends around the second week of September. Don’t miss this opportunity if you are in Cancun during the summer months! The best days to book your Whale Shark tour are 3 days before and after a full moon, due to fish spawning, this means that there will be more food in the water (to spawn refers to the process of freely releasing eggs into a body of water).

These endangered species are protected. Touching the Whale Sharks is strictly prohibited. We must remain 5 yards away from them to avoid any type of contact (even by accident).
Please use alternative sun protection like long-sleeved rash-guards or shirts, hats and sunglasses. Organic or mineral based sunscreen only after the swimming activities.
Everyone is required to wear a life jacket.
The maximum capacity of the boat is 10 guests. Up to 2 people in the water at the same time + 1 guide (official rules).
Activities may get canceled due to heavy winds (big waves). The Harbor Master has the last word.
Restrictions: Tour not recommended for pregnant women, babies, seniors or weak swimmers. Guests must be able to swim on their own.

You must love open sea boat rides and respect nature.
Boat trip: 45 minutes approximately to reach the Whale Shark area.
We will swim with Whale Sharks only if the conditions allow us to go in the water, the length of each swim depends on each person’s swimming skills. Sessions are conducted one couple (plus a guide) at a time to ensure everyone has a great experience while respecting the Whale Sharks. Touching the marine life is strictly prohibited.
