The perfect private half-day tour for snorkel lovers like you! You decide where to go!
This wet & wild tour combines two of the most impressive snorkeling destinations around the Mayan Riviera which are Turtle Bay, Yal-Ku Lagoon, The Underground Cenotes or Puerto Morelos.
TURTLE BAY: Swim right next to the most beautiful sea turtles in their natural habitat. One of the most beautiful beaches in Akumal is home of the Green Sea Turtles and many other species of fish. The Turtles are feeding freely in their habitat. There are no cages or tricks. This unique marine sanctuary is located in the heart of the Mayan Riviera, between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. We swim from the shore with a life jacket and a snorkel mask on. No need for a boat ride.
CENOTES: You will be able to enjoy a snorkel tour at one of the most impressive Underground Cenotes of the Mayan Riviera located between Tulum and Playa del Carmen. The crystalline rain water helped carving fragile stone formations while flooding the caves throughout the ages. During this tour you will learn how the Yucatan Peninsula was formed thousands of years ago, while discovering these stunning locations with us. There are stone steps and handrails, that make getting into the water easily accessible to everyone.
YALKU (add-on +$30 USD pp): This hidden lagoon is surrounded by huge mangroves and tropical vegetation. A unique limestone inlet that is connected to the Caribbean sea and also to the fresh water of the underground rivers. Yal-Ku is home to different species of tropical fish like colorful parrot, angel, damsel, blue tang, needle fish, and many more! Many times we also spot exotic birds like ospreys, herons, pelicans, frigates and cormorants. There are wooden steps and handrails, that make getting into the water easily accessible to everyone.
PUERTO MORELOS (Add-on +$45 USD pp): Snorkel surrounded by colorful fish and healthy coral reefs in shallow waters. Lobsters, Groupers, Permits, Barracudas, and many other fish species. Sometimes we spot juvenile sea Turtles and harmless stingrays. Located between Playa del Carmen and Cancun this quiet town is home of the Coral Reef National Park. A unique jewel of the Riviera Maya. A 5 minute boat ride is required to reach the coral reef.
We highly recommend this underwater tour if you are looking for a nice morning of peaceful, unique and stress-free snorkeling. This private snorkel excursion will provide you with unique memories of your special vacation!
Your personal tour guide will pick you up right from your hotel and accompany you throughout the day to offer you an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Going at your own pace, this will be a private tour just for you!
Puerto Morelos (+$45 USD pp) requires a small boat ride. We swim from the shore at Turtle Bay. Yal-Ku and the Cenotes have wooden or stone steps that make getting into the water easily accessible to everyone. We must rinse before entering these places to remove any sunscreen or skin products, in order to keep the water as pristine and chemical-free as possible. Therefore we recommend you wearing a long sleeve Lycra shirt or snorkel rash-guard to avoid sunburns. Life Jackets are provided.
