Amazing Whale Sharks and Manta-rays visit the Mexican Caribbean during the summertime in order to feed on massive concentrations of plankton that float near the water’s surface. This event presents a unique opportunity to observe and swim up close with these beautiful creatures like nowhere else in the world!
These gentle giants are harmless to humans. They are slow swimmers in relation to their massive size, moving along at approximately 5 k/h (3 m/h). Whale sharks are considered the largest fish of the oceans. This giant fish is primarily pelagic, living in the open seas.

This seasonal tour starts the 1st of June and ends around the second week of September. So don’t miss this unique opportunity if you are visiting Cancun or the Riviera Maya!
